Ms. Tasneem Fatima

Tasneem Fatima is a development professional with 17 years of working experience in the areas of health (communicable diseases, childhood immunization &MNCH), Microenterprise and livelihood development, gender and development, Youth & minorities inclusion in development, peacebuilding and human rights. She brings a rich experience in research, project management, capacity building and community actions aimed at improving the situation of women, youth and people with disabilities in society to empower them in the society. She has been part of nationwide programmes catering to the issues of economic and social rights. Having worked with the development sector, Ms. Fatima brings with her a wealth of experience and skills in communication, capacity building and knowledge-building. Well-acquainted with contemporary planning and management tools, she has the ability to lead and manage teams tasked to carry out long-term programmes in rural as well as urban settings. She is well aware of women’s issues especially related to rural areas where women are marginalized and suffering due to cultural and social gender discriminatory practices. She is experienced in working with multilateral partners and national organizations along with government departments, she is excellent in capacity building, training material development and presentation. She has vast experience and strong skills to work with line departments and CSOs.Social/Community Mobilization, advocacy, mid-term reviews and capacity building for CSOs of all four provinces she has done in her career. To her employment few of the Organizations are the Civil Society Human and Institutional Development Programme (CHIP), Bhittai Social Watch and Advocacy (BSWA), Asaan Foundation, Islamabad, Mentors (Consultancy firm), British Council, CHIP Training and Consulting (CTC), Aman Foundation, Mansehra, Gul BahaoTrust etc.
