Nasir Hussain is a senior project management and disaster risk management professional with over two decades of experience across humanitarian response, early recovery and resilience building. He has worked with the UN system, World Bank, development partners and government institutions at federal and provincial levels, supporting the design and implementation of complex, multi-stakeholder programmes.
His experience includes leading large-scale programmes focused on disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, post-disaster recovery and resilience. He has strong background in coordinating across multiple stakeholders, supporting government counterparts in policy and programme implementation and managing projects throughout their full lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and close-out. His work spans emergency response and early recovery with a strong focus on practical implementation, institutional strengthening, and achieving measurable results on the ground.
