Mr. Asim Reza

Aasim Reza has an accumulated stay of 26 years in professional life. A diversified experience of working with various bi-lateral and multilateral donors, helped him lead for various projects related to Education, Livelihoods, Skills Enhancement, Research, Institutional Capacity Building, & Professional Development, which further helped in sharpening his understanding about these sectors in detail. He has successfully implemented projects funded by USAID, EU, IFAD, DFID, UNDP, UNICEF, ILO, Govt. of Pakistan and provincial Governments of Punjab, KP, Sindh & Balochistan. Born in Punjab, Pakistan, Aasim started his professional career as a Lecturer (English), soon after graduating from University of the Punjab. After spending a decade in Education sector, he did another Masters before joining Rural Support Programmes of Pakistan i.e. IRM and then completed his M.Phil in Development Studies from Iqra University, Islamabad. He joined IRM as Team Lead Advocacy, Communication & Networking, established & managed M&E section and later took over project implementation. Currently he is working as Head of Programme and still continues to work for the same organization for the last 16 years. He is a Professional Members of the Human Resource Development Network and also serves on the Board of Bridges, a local CSO.
