Meeting with Minister of Interior State

The closure of NGOs has affected the livelihood of workforce engaged in this sector particularly for people from areas already badly affected by manmade and natural disasters. The cut down in funding is denying the right of access to education, health, information and training opportunities to many people, where state finds it difficult to reach.

HRDN has took the initiative to raise concerns of all the civil society organizations to the Interior Ministry of Pakistan. In this relation, CEO and Chairperson HRDN had the kick off meeting with Honorable Minister of State, Mr. Shehryar Afridi on 10th September, 2018. He was briefed on the issue and was requested for his consent for a detailed deliberation between civil society and ministry on the subject matter, to which he agreed generously. The detailed session with Mr. Shehryar will be held in the last week of this month.
