As part of the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, HRDN organized a high-impact awareness session on PECA Law (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act) at Government Girls Secondary School, Village Saallaar, Attock. The session focused on digital rights, online protection, cyber harassment, and responsible digital citizenship—equipping young girls with the knowledge and confidence to navigate digital spaces safely.
Moving beyond conventional lectures, the engagement was designed to be interactive, creative, and youth-centered. Through discussions, scenario-based learning, and participatory activities, students explored how laws like PECA safeguard them against online abuse while reinforcing their role as responsible digital citizens.
In parallel activities across Attock, HRDN engaged boys at Elementary School Dhok Haji Ahmed through symbolic “Orange the World” painting sessions—where handprints and footprints became powerful pledges of male allyship. Students recorded testimonies committing to respect, empathy, and zero tolerance for violence. These voices reflected a growing generation ready to challenge harmful norms and promote dignity for all.
Community women were also engaged through awareness and art-based sessions that combined learning with expression, creating safe spaces for dialogue around digital safety and protection from violence.
To amplify impact beyond physical gatherings, HRDN developed informational posts, visual advocacy materials, and short animated videos—ensuring that the campaign’s message reached wider digital audiences.
Through these collective efforts in Attock in collaboration with GBTI,HRDN transformed awareness into action—demonstrating that when girls are informed, boys become allies, and communities engage openly, the movement to end violence becomes stronger, visible, and sustainable.
