Her expertise spans digital media and information technology, disaster risk reduction, mitigation and preparedness, emergency response coordination, and programme implementation support, with a strong emphasis on supporting government-led initiatives to integrate disaster risk reduction into development planning, including building codes, land-use planning, fire safety, and structural and non-structural risk reduction measures. She has played a key role in developing and coordinating national and sector-specific disaster risk management plans, supporting inter-ministerial and multi-stakeholder coordination mechanisms. Her professional background includes programme coordination, digital systems, monitoring and reporting, administrative and financial management, and liaison with donors and implementing partners. Mir Aroosa has supported emergency operations during major disasters in 2020 and 2025, working in emergency coordination centers and contributing to relief operations, logistics coordination, and field-level monitoring, with a strong focus on effective implementation, accountability, and compliance with established procedures.
