Iram Anees has earned her master degree in Political Science from Punjab University Lahore. She has 12 years of experience and she is an expert in non-formal primary education and conducting high end training and sectoral programmes. She has the ability to work with large programme/project teams and being a part of nationwide projects, she has an experience of traveling in project areas.
Previously, she worked at DAMEN (Development Action for Mobilization & Emancipation) as a Programme Manager, she carried out all responsibilities of social sector programme including learning and training programmes, development of monitoring and evaluation systems and reporting mechanism. Additionally, she has managed more than 100 Non-Formal Schools & 15 Health Centers at various districts of Punjab.
Presently, she is working as an Deputy Programme Manager at IRM- Institute of Rural Management. An accomplished, adaptable and results-driven professional with a proven track record in leading diverse teams of professionals to new levels of success in a variety of highly competitive Markets and fast-paced environments. She is directly involved in development of SMART School programme, strategies, strategic planning, product development, project management, market research and design & development and responsible for successfully running the SMART School programme.
During all these years my exposure to every part of the country through extensive field visits has enabled me to deal with government officials, civil society including people from pluralistic backgrounds, to achieve targets under demanding conditions with positive frame of mind through managing IRM SMART School programme over Pakistan. Her areas of interest are primary education, social sector services, social mobilization, research and capacity building.
